South Side Residence – Assisted living

Seniors who need help bathing, dressing, or daily activities. Assisted living is designed for those who can no longer live on their own, but don’t require a high level of assistance.

Services Include:

• Assistance with activities of daily living (staff present 8 hours of the day)

• Availability of assistance at all times

• Three Nutritious meals and snacks. Baked goods made right in front of you.

• Laundry and housekeeping

• Barrier free shower

• Cable TV (fee of charge)

• Kitchen facilities

• With arrangements catering available for private parties or family gatherings

•  Transportation to health related appointments within the town of Antigonish. Accompanied by Lee or one of the resident assistants

• Blood collection in home (free of charge)

• Basic foot care (advance foot care requires a foot care nurse to come into home ~ additional charge)

• Diabetic education and insulin preparation

• Medication administration and education by a Registered Nurse - Life line (free of charge) calls into main house

• Mail delivery

• Hair stylist (Toni Wilson) visits every 3 weeks

Main House – Supervised Care 24/7

Seniors who need help with bathing, dressing, or daily activities. The main house provides a non-institutionalized environment with 24 hour supervised care under the direction of a qualified Registered Nurse.

• Cable TV (fee of charge)

• Kitchen facilities

• With arrangements catering available for private parties or family gatherings
